At Ellingham and Woodton we believe that a child's time at school should be inspiring, challenging and nurturing. We recognise that our early experiences of education play a key role in shaping our future, so it is vital to ensure our children are given all the necessary skills to become socially and emotionally secure.
We are committed to ensuring all of our children can access the curriculum appropriately and have a positive learning experience regardless of their ability.
Please read our SEND Policy, Information Report and Accessibility Policy and Plan, above, for further details of what we hope to provide for your child.
We welcome visits from parents and carers to see what we offer our pupils and are always available for a conversation about your child. Please feel free to contact Mrs Querelle, the federation SENDCo, for further information.
Makaton
As part of our commitment to ensuring inclusivity, we've learned a few Makaton signs in both of our schools. We also use Makaton greetings when we enter our classrooms in the morning and after lunch. Please play the videos below and learn a new language with us.
